The Early Months 4 weeks - 1 year
This stage they prefer the humam face and human sound. In our centers there is a sufficient contuinity of care to ensure infant (and family) is able to form a relation with our caregivers. We record the infant daily activitees from diapering, to how many oz of formula she / he drank to how long there naps were. You are able to view their daily log when you pick up your child and may recieve a copy.
Crawlers and Walkers Toddler 1 year - 2 1/2
Toddlers are tricky — they've grown enough to have their own ideas and wants, but their bodies and emotions haven't kept pace. At this age you can expect your child to walk backwards, walk up steps with his hand held, kick a ball, say 10 to 25 words, name 3 body parts, turn pages of a book and stack two blocks together. Over the next few months your child will learn new words, start to throw a ball overhand, and use two word combinations.
Preschoolers Ages 3-5
They’re growing up overnight, so much so that you might forget how young they really are. Soon, they’ll be going off to school – they may be giving it a whirl at a pre-school already. They’re asking questions and wondering about things that may surprise you. They’re really beginning to think for themselves.
School Age/ Kindergarten - 6th Grade
With age and experience, they begin to refine their basic social skills. For example, in the interests of friendship, they will play a game their friends want to play while putting off their own immediate desires. They also get better at seeking out friends who are more compatible, so relationships are smoother.
In these years, children strive to "fit in" at home, at school, and with their friends. Feeling successful in these areas builds children's self-confidence and self-concept, which helps them to manage and overcome future challenges.
Here at Child's Time Inc. are teachers will help your Schooler build the self confidence he / she will need, we go on ongoing field trips in the summer time and when the children are on school breaks.
